INSTITUTIONAL ORDERS
DISCOUNTS: All newly published titles are discounted 10%. The time period for the 10% discount is the first six months of availability, with the start time beginning the day the book arrives in our store for the first time.
PRICES: Subject to change without notice. New and forthcoming prices tentative. Prices of foreign titles fluctuate with the currency exchanges and freight. Publisher's price increases will be billed up to $5.00, over $5.00 we will notify before shipping. Expected due dates for titles are taken from publisher's announcements.
DELIVERY: Most orders are shipped out via AIRBORNE EXPRESS ground service within 48 hours, usually the same day. Please allow 4-6 business days for delivery within the US. Express air service, 24, 48 and 72-hour delivery service are available. If needed, please request a quote for air service in the comments line of the order form. Purchases are automatically insured in the US.
Domestic orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or to a PO Box will be sent through US Media Mail. Please note that this can take several weeks to arrive at certain destinations. If you would like prices for faster mailing options, please note this on your order.
RETURNS:
We understand the difficulties inherent in ordering a book without seeing it first, so if you would like more information about a book prior to ordering, please call us at 800-474-2724, and we will gladly describe any book on the shelf in greater detail.
Please keep the packaging if you receive a book in damaged condition and let us know immediately so that we can contact the shipping company and supply a replacement. All sales are final.
SHIPPING COSTS: Ground delivery: $5.50 for the first book and $.75 for each additional book in the continental US. Air delivery: calculated on book weight.
UNLISTED TITLES: Please request any titles not found on our web site in the comments section of the order form, or you can contact us at info@pabook.com.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERING
The Prairie Avenue Bookshop regularly ships books worldwide. Shipping charges are calculated by book weight. If you are placing an order from outside the US, your order will be confirmed via e-mail with exactly quotes for air and surface mail, including insurance options. If you need express delivery (under 1 week) please request it in the comment line of your order form.
Your order will be shipped immediately upon confirmation of your shipping selection.

The Prairie Avenue Bookshop offers an institutional discount on all architecture and technical titles in stock to college and municipal libraries. We have in stock over 8000 architectural titles from hundreds of publishers. A library's holdings would benefit from our specialized inventory of books on architecture, design, technology, drawing, urban planning and architectural history.
As an architectural book cataloguer, we have provide excellent service and selection to practicing architects, libraries, architectural programs and students for over 37 years. We offer fast, convenient service and can ship in-stock titles within 24 hours. An order as large as 1000 units can be invoiced and shipped within 5 business days. Our knowledgeable sales staff can assist with selection and quickly process institutional orders, as well as accommodate standing orders for the journals and serials listed in our catalog. There is substantial savings in ordering, time, shipping and processing by ordering direct from one supplier.
We accept purchase orders and purchase requisitions. A library account with discounts will automatically be set up with your first purchase order. Please supply your tax exempt number with your first order.
